Lock and key

We keep so much of ourselves under lock and key. Leaving only a few with the clues to unlock and preserve what lies inside. Of course it is a magical place, like a secret garden, each person has this place and to each person it looks like something different. However unique our places may be, we share the commonality of the locks and labyrinths to get there and that we all need someone to share it with. A rare and particularly beautiful hand knit vintage doily sets the back drop to the lock and key, a gentle nod to the intricacies that are waiting to be shared behind the lock. A fun foray into mixed media, this piece really holds some sweet secrets of my heart from a time that I was really spending some deep healing.
