Sea Urchin Ocean Creatures

Texture, colour, scale.... sea urchins have it all going on. Such vibrant colour, and intense hard shells, soft flesh and prickly spines. They represent so often these parts of ourselves, our tender insides, a tough shell, sometimes prickly spines. I get lost in their endless symmetry, circles, variety, the perfectness in the imperfection. They are like a meditation to sculpting. This is the second in a series of urchins.... there will be more.
